The Fall Tree

Hey Cuties!

It’s Fall! I’m super excited for sweater weather, hot drinks and colourful leaves. Speaking of colourful leaves, this week’s design is pretty cool (pun unintended?) and colourful. It’s a little more complex than the previous weeks, but is easy to follow. Let’s get started!

Tools:
Nail Polish Colours: Black, Brown, Orange, Yellow, Red
     Nail Art Brush
Nail Art StripingTape (I used 0.025” for the width)

Steps:
1.) Paint your whole nail black.
2.) Using the striping tape, cover a part of your nail to create a tree with            branches, NOT the outline   of a tree.
3.) Paint your whole nail orange.
4.) Once you’re happy with the colour/shade of the orange over the                    black, take off the tape. You   should now have a black tree with                      branches and no leaves.
5.) Using your brown, red and yellow (possibly a darker orange as well),            create falling leaves by   either painting small dashes, or dots, or                    blobs.

It’s a gorgeous and perfect design for fall. The only reason I used black is because I didn’t have a dark enough brown for the tree, so if you have one, use that instead of black! This design can also be used as an accent nail and paint your other nails orange, or you can do this on each nail and create a mini forest on your nails. Either way, everybody will fall in love with your nails (pun intended).
Next Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving, so prepare your turkey and prepare your nails for another awesome design. So until then, stay fabulous!
