Wedding Nail

Happy Monday Cuties!

Each summer, I think of designs for a wedding nail, whether for a bride, bridesmaid or an attendee. Colours I usually associate with wedding nails are soft pinks, nudes and whites (and perhaps glitter!). This design is a soft pink background with a simple (glitter) diamond in the middle and a sparkle on top. It’s a simple and fast design if you’re in a rush and can make a pretty accent nail!

National Piña Colada Day

This is the first post of the Summer Series, which if you read last week’s post, you would know it’s just a shorter version of the usual posts. I try to build up designs a bit in advance so I don’t have to worry about rushing a design so I have something to post, and as I was planning for a summer drinks theme week near the end of August, I found out today is National Piña Colada Day. So this piña colada design got moved up a month and so to fall in line with its national day.

If you’ve seen past posts, you know I love glitter and sparkle and try to incorporate it into my designs, so of course I added a glitter top coat. Also it’s summer, so who wouldn’t want to add a little more sparkle to the already shinning sun?! Don’t forget for follow Cutiecure on Instagam and until next time, stay fabulous!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cutiecure!

Cutiecure officially turned three years old this past Friday, but with Canada Day being this past weekend and Fourth of July tomorrow, a small blog’s birthday is quite forgettable. So here’s to a great three years gone by and here’s to more fabulous years ahead!

p.s. Over the next eight weeks (starting NEXT Monday), I will be doing a short summer series, as in, I won’t be posting the steps for the nail designs, it’ll strictly be a picture of the final design. Nobody really wants to sit and read how to do (adorable) nail designs during sunny summer days, nor do they want to spend a ton of time doing their nails, so this will be a way to pick up a quick design that doesn’t take forever to do.
