Hey Cuties!
It’s October, so in Canada, as well as in other countries, that means it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Although Breast Cancer has not directly touch me or my family, I thought it would be a touching way to spread awareness and show support to those who have fought the illness, those who are fighting the illness, and those who have survived the illness.
Tools:
Nail Polish: Light Pink, Dark Pink, White
Pink Glitter
Nail Art Brush
Steps:
1.) Paint your whole nail light pink.
2.) Using your dark pink, paint a ribbon off-centre or in the middle of your nail.
3.) To add the glitter, use either a clear nail polish or your dark pink nail polish, to the ribbon to give the glitter something to stick to. I suggest doing this over wax paper or tissue for easier clean up and less mess! Sprinkle a bit of glitter over your nail until you have an even amount of glitter on the ribbon, or it’s to your liking.
4.) Outline the ribbon in white, using your nail art brush.
It’s a simple design and a fashionable way to show your support. I was hoping to do this the first week of October, but the schedule for the nail art designs got moved around for timing reasons. I hope you enjoyed this design as much as I loved designing it, and if you try this design yourself, or you have your own nailart for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, feel free to share a pic on Twitter or Instagram, tagging my handle @cutiecure, or better yet, leave a comment below!
Next week, it’s Halloween week, and I have a full week of designs planned for you guys, starting with #suddenlysunday, and right through to Halloween night! Until next time, stay fabulous!
