Hey Cuties!
It’s night three of the #fivenightsoffright series, and it’s getting creepier as the nights progress. Tonight’s design is a spider and web. It’s a bit more complex of a design than the previous nights and my usual designs, but not impossible!
Tools:
Nail Polish Colours: Black, Purple, Silver, White
Nail Art Brush
Steps:
1.) Paint your whole purple.
2.) Using your nail art brush and white polish, begin the web. I divided my nail into a pie of eight slices, and then created the bends in between those lines. You can copy me and use a silver over the white for a more glistening web, or you can leave it white.
3.) You can draw the body, and then the head. I clearly did a terrible job on the anatomy of the spider, which I’m pretty sure you can do better!
4.) After you’re happy with the body and head, paint on the 8 limps, 4 per side. I also added fangs? or I don’t know what you would call them on a spider. Or if spiders even have those things. I’m pretty sure that’s the reason this turned out more scorpion-like than a spider!
Pretty cool design and totally worth the effort! To put my special and signature touch on it, I added silver glitter to some parts of the web, it also makes it look like its catching some light. If you choose to add glitter too, don’t bother painting the whole web silver. I only did where the spider wouldn’t be covering, and I didn’t make the whole web silver. Also, if you're as mad as me with the anatomy, just do the web!
It’s the half-way point through the series, so that means there’s only two more designs left, and two more days til Halloween. Hope your costumes are ready! Until next time, stay fabulous!
