Beach Ballin'

What’s up Cuties?!

Today, I decided to do a beach theme design, since I feel like I haven’t posted enough summer-like designs in the past few weeks. It’s a pretty cool and easy-to-intermediate design, and it helps if you have a steady hand to paint with. But if you don’t have a steady hand, it’s still not too hard to do. Let’s get started!

Tools:
- Nail Polish Colours: White, Black, Gold, Ocean Blue
- Nail Art Brush or Toothpick

Steps:
1.) Paint the top quarter of your nails, except your ring finger, Ocean Blue.
2.) While you wait for that to dry, on your ring finger, you can start to paint the outline of the beach ball with a nail art bush or toothpick. You will want Count how many spaces you will have according to how many different colours you want (in this case six). Finishing with the beach nails, paint the rest of your nails gold. It’s okay to paint a bit over the blue, so it looks rough and uneven, like how to beach meets the ocean.
3.) Create broken black arch lines over your first three nails across the “sand”, to create the appearance of the beach ball bouncing.
4.) To colour in the beach ball, I just used the normal nail polish brush and CAREFULLY coloured in the spaces. If you don’t have a steady head, feel free to use a nail art brush, or toothpick to colour them in. After all of the spaces are coloured in, go over the black lines again, incase you coloured over some of them.

This is a really cool and fun design for when you’re hitting up the beach, or for the summer months in general! Summer seems to be going by too fast, so for the next few weeks, I’ll be trying to keep posting summer designs! As always keep posted for more designs throughout the week, Share pics if you try out this design and check out Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr for more!
