A Pop of Colour

Hey Cuties! 

I was busy this past week, and didn’t have too much inspiration, so I decided to do a quick tip instead of a design or tutorial. Bright colours are always a part of summer fashion, whether it’s clothes, or in this case, nails. 

Bright nail polish can always make a statement, but here is a tip to add some more pop to it! Before you apply your colour of choice, apply a layer or two of white polish to your nails. It adds a brighter base to your nails than just your nude nail colour. When applying the white colour, make sure it goes on smooth, because your main colour will go on bump and look terrible. If after one coat of the white polish it looks bumping and rough, don’t apply a second, or if you want to and have the time to do so, start over. 

I was planning to play beach volley-ball today, so I decide to do this on my toe nails. Not only adding a pop of colour to my toes, but also to the sand when my toes poke through.
